Okay this past weekend has been so stressful. Sunday I woke up and discovered that I was bleeding. We rushed to the emergancy room and spent most of the day there. They drew blood twice and took several ultra sounds. I can't tell you how it felt to see the baby swimming about and kicking those itty bitty feet. Clay held my hand and we oohed and ahed at the tiny little person shifting and swimming about. It was such a miracle the way that baby's strong heart beat soothed us. Hearing that little life pounding away was the most wonderful expirience.

The Doctor put me on bed rest because there was some bleeding behind the placenta. Today we followed up with my regular doctor. The bleeding stemmed on monday and today is nonexistent. We saw Baby again. The heart is still beating strong and loud and Baby is still moving vigorously which is good. We will have another visit in four weeks and then the ultra sound in raidiology in eight weeks from now. Doc says Baby is between 10 and 11 weeks old. Clay is so excited about seeing baby so much and relieved that we aren't misscarrying.

There hasn't been any morning sickness but certain smells put me off. I'm still eating well and keeping up with my fluids (trying to any way, have you ever seen what 10 glasses looks like? That's 80 ounces!)

So that is what has been happening with Baby and us. Pictures coming soon.
